Biker banned after licence forgery

A motorcyclist has been banned from driving , fined and ordered to do community service after attempting to pervert the course of justice by producing a home made set of vehicle registration documents.
Lee Mercer rode his motorcycle at 85mph on the 30mph section of Nottingham's London Road in June last year. When he received notices from the police he tried to evade prosecution by returning false registration documents and claiming he had sold the vehicle to someone else.
